Parijs juni 2012

Dit jaar voor het eerst in juni naar de "Premiere Classe", in plaats van september. Doordat in de mode alles steeds eerder "moet", vond ook onze beurs wat eerder plaats.
This year for the first time in June to the "Premiere Classe", instead of September. In fashion everything has to happen "faster", so our fair also had to take place earlier.

Net als alle jaren hiervoor konden we ook dit maal weer het heerlijke appartement in de Rue Rodier ( 9de arrondissement ) huren. En ook nu was het weer heerlijk om " thuis" te komen in ons huis op de 6de etage.
Also this year we were able to rent the lovely apartment in the Rue Rodier ( 9th district ). And also this time it felt like comming home in "our" house on the 6e floor.

Tekst op de muur in onze straat en naar de lucht hebben wij vanaf ons balkon zeker gekeken.
Text on a wall in our street and we did watch the sky from our balcony.

Het is altijd weer spannend voor ons om te zien of de nieuwe modellen in Parijs succesvol zijn.
It is for us always exciting if our new models will be succesfull in Paris.

Het beursterrein krijgt bij elke editie een andere presentatie en het thema is voor ons elke keer een verrassing. Dit jaar zagen we bij aankomst stro, heel veel grote balen stro. We hadden nog niet meteen een idee wat ze daar mee van plan waren, maar toen de beurs open ging waren we aangenaam verrast door het resultaat.
On the fairgrounds they build every edition a diffent kind of presentation and for us the theme is everythime a big surprise. This year we saw straw when we arrived, many huge straw bales. We did not had any idee what plans they had, but when we arrived the next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the result.

Wij waren tevreden met de beurs, het aanbod was leuk en de sfeer was goed. Nog lang niet alle klanten zijn gewend aan dit nieuwe inkoop moment, maar dat gaat voor volgend jaar vast wel lukken.
We were happy with the fair, what the fair had to offer was nice and the atmosphere was good. Not all the customers were ready for this new timing, but we are sure that they will be for next year.

Na hard werken gunnen we onszelf nog wat ontspanning, dit maal o.a.een heerlijk drankje in het boeken-café van Merci en de toepasselijke film over de dames van de 6de etage.
After hard working we always treat ourself with some nice things, this time a lovely drink in the bookshop-café of Merci and the the applicable movie about the women of the sixth floor.
