Space invaders

Al jaren lang maken we in Parijs foto's van space invaders. We letten erop, weten waar we ze vaak kunnen vinden en het blijft leuk om een nieuwe te ontdekken. Toch is het ineens heel anders als je een space invader om de hoek in de Vinkenstraat of de Willemstraat tegenkomt. Net alsof het in Parijs wel hoort, maar niet bij ons in de Jordaan.
Maar ook in Amsterdam zijn ze er en nu we er meer op letten zien we ze vaker.
Natuurlijk weten we dat ze er niet horen, maar toch worden we er elke keer weer vrolijk van als we een leuke ontdekken.
For years we make photo's of space invaders in Paris. We notice them, know where to look for them and it is always fun to discover new ones.
But it is totally different when you discover a space invader arround the corner at the Vinkenstraat or the Willemstraat. Just like it is normal in Paris, but not in the Jordaan.
But they also exist in Amsterdam and now we do find them more often.
Ofcourse we realise that they don't belong there, but evertime when we see a nice one it makes us happy.
